Seattle Water Damage

My wife and I recently had a small fire apartment. The fire itself caused little damage, some burn marks on the ceiling that come immediately. The sprinkler system and firefighters, meanwhile, did a bit of damage: Tore a huge swath of carpet to help the pool water, the cut of our frame of the sliding door out to make an exit Water from the balcony, hit the toilet to do a drain. Much of our things are in ruins. Not have renters insurance, but we can eat the damage to our personal property. However, our owner is saying that they have no insurance either, and they were responsible for all damage caused by the fire, the firefighters, the irrigation system, and other miscellaneous expenses, such as the type of alarm system and a technician coming out of the elevator. Im trying to contact a tenant's union here in Seattle, but as they are administered voluntary organizations are slow to respond. Does the landlord story sounds strange sound strange story of the owner to someone else? He made me sign a regular contract when we moved, saying they were responsible for the damage to the apartment, but just do not have the money to pay bills (probably massive) I know the landlord will try to charge us. Thanks in advance. What I discovered was – does not indicate how the fire started. If the fire was due to negligence or carelessness, you may be liable for damages caused by fire. I suspect that the owner has coverage for fire damage unless you own the property free of the mortgage, as any lender will require that the property concerned may be properly insured against loss. However, if you have coverage, do not be surprised if the insurer pays and is coming to get them, if the cause of the fire.

If you were the cause of the fire, whether through negligence or accident, then you are responsible for the results. This includes damage caused by the fire department. Had there been no fire then have not been answered and there would have been no additional damage to the apartment. Had they not responded, then you might be responsible for the cost of a building or maybe even several buildings had been burned. The fire department made him a great service by damaging her apartment to save the edificio.Si you can not pay for the damages then you may have to consider bankruptcy. And now I know why people invest in fire extinguishers and liability insurance civil.WK

He said the fire inspector deemed as the "cause" of the fire. If he did then u must pay, but if deemed an accident and no one was at fault then ur ur owner is responsable.propietario should never have rented to or if you are uninsured. Why people have fire insurance and emergencies, or are not responsible for the payment of such damages. Tell ur owner to stop being so damn cheap and cough up the money to cover the costs, even if it did take u to court would have no chance of winning. He's just bluffing. The state would revoke their rights of self-insurance.
